Gaming is meant to be fun, entertaining, and exciting — but sometimes it can get out of hand. Winbox believes Responsible Gaming isn't a restriction; it's for your own benefit, so that playing always stays enjoyable and never becomes a source of stress.
Winbox offers a range of Responsible Gaming tools you can control yourself — from deposit limits to self-exclusion. No judgment, no complicated process — everything can be activated easily through Account Settings.
This page brings together everything you need to know about Responsible Gaming — how to recognize signs of addiction, how to use the available tools, and where to turn if you need help.
Responsible Gaming means keeping gaming as one part of your entertainment — not letting it take over your life. How much you play, how much time you spend, and how much money you put in — these are your decisions, and making them consciously is what Responsible Gaming is all about.
Responsible gaming is a top priority at Winbox — not because we have to, but because we genuinely believe gaming is only truly enjoyable when it stays within healthy limits.
Many people think responsible gaming means playing less or having less fun — that's not what it's about. It's about playing smart: sticking to a budget, knowing your time limits, and walking away feeling good — whether you win or lose.
Don't treat gaming as a reliable way to earn money. It's a form of entertainment, and the possibility of losing is always there with every game.
Activate it anytime through Account Settings — fully in your own hands.
Set a daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limit before you play. Decreasing your limit takes effect immediately. Increasing it requires a 24-hour cooling-off period — a safeguard against impulsive decisions.
Set a daily time limit for your gaming sessions before you start. Once the limit is reached, you'll receive an automatic alert and the session will end. Choose your own limit — anywhere from 30 minutes to 8 hours.
Automatically stop your gaming session once you've reached a set loss amount. Set a daily or weekly loss limit to protect yourself from significant financial harm.
Choose a cooling-off period when you need a short break — options are 7, 30, or 90 days. You won't be able to log in to your account during this time. Once the period ends, your account will be reactivated automatically.
For a longer break, use self-exclusion — choose 6 months, 1 year, or permanently. Any attempt to open a new account during a self-exclusion period will also be blocked. This is our strongest protection tool.
Pop-up notifications appear at set intervals to remind you how long you've been playing and how much you've won or lost. These reminders can make all the difference when it comes to deciding to stop at the right time.
Any responsible gaming tool can be activated in just a few minutes.
Log in to your Winbox account and click the profile icon in the top right corner.
Open the "Account Settings" or "Responsible Gaming" section from the dropdown menu.
Deposit Limit, Session Time, Loss Limit, Cooling-Off, or Self-Exclusion — choose whichever you need.
Enter your budget or time limit and choose how many days it applies for.
Your limit takes effect the moment you click "Confirm" or "Save".
Keep in mind: Reducing your limit takes effect right away. But if you want to increase it, Winbox applies a 24-hour waiting period — so the decision isn't made in the heat of the moment.
Set a maximum deposit amount on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Once the limit is in place, no deposits beyond that amount will be possible — the system blocks it automatically.
Takes Effect ImmediatelyA temporary break of 7, 30, or 90 days. During this period, you will not be able to access your account, though any existing withdrawal requests will continue to be processed.
7 / 30 / 90 Days6 months, 1 year, or permanent self-exclusion. Once activated, it cannot be cancelled before the period ends — not by you, and not through support. This is the strictest protection available.
Maximum ProtectionIf you notice these signs, seek help sooner rather than later.
Every time you sit down to play, you tell yourself "just this one last session" — but you keep going over budget. Spending money meant for bills or essential expenses on gaming is a major warning sign.
Feeling down for a long time after a loss, getting angry, or withdrawing from family conversations — these are signs that your gaming is no longer in a healthy place.
Betting more to chase back what you've lost is an extremely dangerous cycle. This is known as "chasing losses" and is a common cause of serious financial harm.
Hiding your gaming from family or friends, or downplaying how much you play, is a sign that something isn't right.
Cutting into your sleep or sacrificing work and study time to play — when gaming starts disrupting your daily life, it's time to take it seriously.
Wanting to stop but being unable to — that feeling means gaming is slipping out of your control. It's the clearest sign that you need support.
If you recognise two or more of the above signs in yourself, please contact Winbox support or activate self-exclusion right away. Asking for help isn't weakness — it takes courage.
